Based on the results so far I'd say that the life expectancy of a TA footsoldier is about 48.

Given the general levels of obesity, high blood pressure, alcoholism and general lifestyle I'm not surprised.

Ever noticed how all old people are thin? It's not cos they've been on a diet. It's cos all the fat folk are dead already. Seriously. Worse than smoking.

And my tongue is only halfway in my cheek...

Bollox!

I'm a fat bassa and I'm 53. I had a medical last month, was told to cut down on salt and dairy products and do more exercise. I'm doing all of the above. (It won't last but hey! who keeps new year resolutions?)

Heart, BP and cholesterol all well within the healthy guidelines.

I'll be here for a while, yet... traffic permitting!

Not at all....I chanced my luck last year and asked for a half on the train. My pal suggested it (since I can pass for about 16) and it came out my mouth before I realised. I got it, but felt massively guilty. I bought an extra ticket when I got off to make up for my fraud. Not the greatest criminal!
