This year's seasons continues where last season left off with Edinburgh getting beaten.
Maybe. But if last year's Edinburgh side was trailing 22-6 away to Munster at half time they would have lost something like 45-9.

I was! Plenty to work on, but a win is a win. Our set piece looks pretty solid.

You were, and it was a pleasure to watch a Scottish side win a game at the death rather than let in a late score to lose. Solomon is clearly going to base his game around a big pack (with Cox in the back-row, Edinburgh had a lot of big men on the park) and a return to winning ways was very welcome after last season. The back-line was far from impressive, the number of basic mistakes was infuriating, but it is early days I suppose. Glasgow's result was impressive too, it's rare enough that both win in the same weekend, so a good start to a new campaign.

Pack looks good, set piece is pretty solid. Best thing for me is the massive increase in physicality in the tackle.

Peter Wright, Tom English and Dougie Vipond commentating on Radio Scotland. Possibly the worst line up in the history of broadcasting.
Thankfully i got to a tv for the second half.

another week another defeat for edinburgh
if the englishers and the french get their way (which they are) edinburgh will disappear from the rugby stratosphere
