We stayed at the Travelodge in Rathmines which was described as city centre for NI. It was a bit of a trek.

Stayed in Ballsbridge for the 2nd lot of games. Handy for the Aviva & DART into city centre.  :ok:

Can't get a site that will take a booking for The Clifton Court and any hotels that are taking bookings seem to have doubled or trebled their prices , Scarey!     Any other places worth trying ?

Booked The Barnacles in Temple Bar , only €22 each, 6 in the dorm. Get great reviews on Trip Advisor.

I can't really recommend any hotels etc but Dublin 2 or Dublin 1 are your best bet.  I'd recommend anywhere in Dublin 2.  The stadium is in Dublin 4.  This is a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre and in a nice residential area.

Dublin taxis are very expensive so bear that in mind if staying out to the west or north of the city. There are value hotels near the Luas line and ideal if you don't plan on socialising after the Luas stops.

Anything near Temple Bar or near Harcourt street will probably be at a premium but these are the locations to be in.  Quality may vary.
