Are you not being a bit hasty with flights, they'll no doubt be a friendly beforehand somewhere from 8th onward's.

There was talk on here a while back of Windsor Park. Nice wee road trip.  :ok:

I have my doubts there will be a game, but you never know.

For a while now I have suspected that Strachan does not actually care for them.... He binned the Malta friendly before Zagreb, also couple of media reports that friendly matches proposed before the Croatia game at Hampden in October last year were rejected, as well as we only played one game in June when everyone else played a lot more, and he has rejected any talk of a friendly before Germany this year....

Add this on top of the SFA long displeasure of playing games in June, it does not look promising.

They release their Aberdeen time table in blocks (like Ryanair and Easyjet) where as for Glasgow and Edinburgh they release them 355 days before departure, though Aer Lingus site is VERY easy to manipulate, and possible to get them a couple of days before this :D

Given this game is 3 weeks after the season ends, and potentially 5 weeks after end of English championship I would suspect there to be a definate friendly b4. The previous weekend seems sensible so the team have plenty recovery time.

Wouldn't surprise me if its Northern Ireland at the new windsor park as they play a home game v Romania on the 13th so a visit from us may suit them.

Think Rep of Ireland at home to England the previous weekend ?

IIRC 8th on wards is the only date for international matches, as you have the champions league on the 6th(?) and the fixtures ban that comes with that.

I think the Scottish and FA cup finals are on the 30th of May next year.

Think Championship play off final is really early next season compared to what it usually is.

If you go to the last available date on the Callander, then click on it, on the next screen there is a bar where it is possible to go forward another 4 or 5 days and book for that date.
