aye, loads in there.

what do you mean by 'choice drinking establishments'

a selection of Trip advisor reviews .....

The hotel was well priced and the location is close to the station. The street had a few dodgy looking clubs and some kind of exotic bar with offputting pictures in the window, but there was also a very good"

"he area isn't the most salubrious, with strip joints in the same street; but the location very near the central station is ideal and the value is unmatched in this area. The wifi is patchy in the "

"The street out side was a bit noisy and seemed to be part of the seedy side of the city with sex shops and topless bars nearby."

Location is close to city center but even closer to kind of local "Red light district". We don't feel that safe with small children around

the area is not pleasnt to walk around as there are a number of strip bars, sex shops and unusual bars and the 'characters' associated...

"The area is quite colourful a few adult type shops and possibly a few ladies working the night shift, that said we felt "

For those staying at the Doubletree – Hilton.
It says ‘scheduled airport shuttle service’ on the website, but somewhere else it also says ‘by pre-arrangement’, or something like that.
Just thought I’d ring and make sure the pick up will be there. It sounded like you do have to call ahead and tell them which flight you’re on. Arranging it’s not a problem, but it didn’t sound like there’s an automatic shuttle service.

Yes.

When we arrived we got upgraded due to it being busy.

It's around a 15 minute walk from the railway station.

Yeh, we stayed there as well. OK hotel, clean and fairly central. Bit strange how you access the reception, around the back but you'll have no problems staying here.

Aye, I was in that one as well. Room was very good, loads of space. Short walk across the bridge to the drinking establishments.

It's ideally located as it's a short walk from both parts of the town I would say.
