Hodgson's cv is so far ahead of any other english manager atm it should be a no brainer, but who was expecting the efa to look at that.

  if I said I was joking , would you take me seriously?

Would be a good appointment. Surprised he's not been in the frame previously.

This is terrible news, Hodgson would be a better appointment by miles than Redknapp. Looks like Harry taking his eye off the ball at Spurs may come back to bite his arse, he has now apparently dropped in the estimation of most Spurs fans and he may end up not getting the job he thought was there with his name on it a few weeks back.

Gary TA showing his complete lack of football knowledge if he thinks Hodgson would be out of his depth, and basing his opinion on the Liverpool debacle.

Come on FA Ggive the job to 'arry. ;)

Everyone lauding it up here.

In my opinion, there's no way Hodgson would be appointed before 'Arry, no way.

Happy to eat my words though.

Have a look at your original post Gary, which was to denigrate Roy Hodgson.

Have a look at the consensus of the replies.

Stick around and you might learn a thing or six.

This is hilarious.

He plays long ball. His training consists of constant set piece work and drilling of the defensive shape with a bank of 4 and a bank of 5 with 1 target man. He crushes all creativity from the skillful players.

Plus he is a pish-stained senile old warmer.

Has Harry not lost a bit of his Kudos with you guys though, the way the arse has dropped out of your season since the England job came to light?

What's this thread got to do with Craig Brown?

I just went and washed up, I put the radio on, and apparently this is real!

Jesus.

I like Harry, it all ballsed up after Capello left, the coincidence would be too big to ignore.

That's not to say he's without criticism, he is.

I was all set for Redknapp moving to the FA and someone else coming in, this has thrown everything up in the air.

Redknapp will be raging that he has had to be pleasant to the media over the last couple of months, if he doesn't get the gig you can guarantee he will go back to being an obnoxious tw@t!
