As a Yes voter from Dumfriesshire who works across the border in Carlisle ( as an awful of people i know also do ), I think the big concern is a fear over jobs/taxes/currency,  because we will be working in effect in a foreign country .

Also in some cases the whole passport control/border crossing fears are still being raised (strange but true  ).

I had to listen to a guy in the pub a couple of weeks ago state he was a definite no because "We`d end up like Norway and your pint would cost you a tenner !!" The general consensus in the pub seemed to be No , but most of them are guys who work in or around the Carlisle area and they are unsure about their jobs .

Having said that , I think most of the Tartan army guys I travel with are Yes voters , so I think it`s still hard to call .

As far as I am aware   Dundee is YES 55%, Glasgow and the west YES 55%+ ( should increase due to games.)

Dumfries and Gallloway is 33% YES.,... don't know what going on here...

Where I live Renfrewshire, we have 53% YES in the schemes. , the Orange/Rangers vote is holding up in the schemes,,,,  elsewhere the schemes are 70% ish....

Aberdeenshire is yes , JUST

The rest of Scotland I am not sure about

The Isle of ULVA, where I was working this week, ( pop 13)  6 naw, 5 yes... and 2 bairns...

the naws include the landowner.   is this the smallest canvass ever....?

I have also read that the Labour Party has given up on the Central Belt........  except Edinburgh......

Yes Stickers are outnumbering NAW, everywhere, but stickers don't vote

My head says 60% YES on the day , my heart sinks when I hear aw the BEE TEE shite and think YES might only get 47% ....

I also think , on the day, undecided will swing to YES , as who would vote to get rid of their country.,...  but I have no evidence for this...

Didn`t explain properly on my original post but when the car ias parked on the pavement it doesn`t encroach on the actual tarmac section at all or stick out over the kerb either .

I have e-mailed both my local counicil planning and roads departments` and Police Scotland and have had no response as to whether or not this is an offence and if so what tha penalties are .
