We started fostering dogs in January. Up until then I didn't really notice how many owners don't pick up after their dogs. But what puzzles me even more is when it's sunny you see lots more people walking dogs. Do these animals get no exercise when it rains? What a miserable life Then if they can't be bothered to walk their pet, they're not likely to clean up after it are they??

I've noticed that too - really bizarre.  I take my boys are out in all weather and at roughly the same time of day because they are both long-term rescue centre residents and they find routine comforting yet in good weather I see all sorts of folk and dogs that I don't see the rest of the time.

PS - I always put the poop bags in bins or take them home to bin them.

I always thought parking the entire car on the pavement was illegal everywhere in the UK.  I know in London parking just two wheels on the pavement is definitely illegal as I got towed away once for doing that back in the 80s.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they are planning to extend it beyond the city centre but I think they were rushing to get it launched to maximise on the the visitors to the Commonwealth Games so city centre was the priority.

Pretty sure the charging structure varies depending on how long you have the bike so I think it would work out quite expensive to take it away overnight.
