  1. the problem is that their raisin d’etre now appears to be puberty blockers and not the planet.
  2. The SNP have been badly damaged by the Greens. I was going to say irreversibly damaged, but politics is fickle, and a few years from now things might be different. sadly they let the allure of an easy passsage for bills get ahead of principles and common sense. the Greens really are crackpots on the edge of mainstream life and the majority of Scots now associate that with the SNP
  3. I was really looking forward to This Town, butI am at episode 5 and it’s been OK but not brilliant. Maybe my expectations were too high.
  4. Being a man of a certain age, I am looking forward a year or two fully paid to be off work to deal with menopause symptoms. This is because, according to a Scottish Government report, it’s not just women that can suffer from the menopause but other genders can too. What a fucking world we live in.
  5. I remember the good old days when the Greens were about saving whales and stopping little fluffy seal cubs being clubbed to death.
  6. good. Fucking crackpots. Just watch them sook up to labour if they get a sniff of another hung parliament. harvie, slater, chapman and the ginger prick. Student politics elevated to reAl life when they hardly had a vote between them.
  7. 😂😂🤣🤣 really, I can’t blame you for thinking that given how ludicrous the party has become but sadly that has more to do with the greens than the British state!
  8. i agree… innocent until guilty, but one can’t imagine that Nicola did not know everything that was going on. When they were lying in bed of an evening or on a Sunday morning, I am sure the party finances must have been discussed.
  9. I don’t think it will be quite that bad. There are members of the core support that would snp if Kermit the frog was the leader.
  10. Another crackpot idea that undermines justice. Fix the justice system.
  11. Alcohol is not consumed in moderation though is it. Maybe vouchers for a couple of drinks a week then? Smoking does have upsides - it’s a pleasant experience, in the same way a drink is. I am not a smoker as I have done my own cost benefit analysis but every individual should be entitled to choose. Ration cakes? Fatties are very expensive to the NHS. Where do you stop. ”people can’t be trusted to make their own choices” sounds very 1984 to me.
