  1. Hi, Looking to get 2 tickets together in Upper Tier. Can anyone help? Cheers
  2. Hi, me wife and 3 kids going to game and staying in Vilamoura. Thinking of transportation to/from the game. With us being a 5 we'd potentially need 2 taxis, which would obviously be a bit expensive! Any supporters buses running with space? :-) Advice also appreciated. Cheers
  3. Well picked up on, that's what I was thinking. IF there was a chance of ticket prices being reduced (which I doubted anyway) after all the fuss last time, that is gone now. Scotland v England WORLD CUP QUALIFIER = licence to print money for SFA. As for the draw football wise, I think its pretty good for us.
  4. I would have loved to have seen our full backs v Ireland being Robertson and Bardsley. I can't for the life of me understand why Strachan doesn't want Bardsley even in the squad. There were a few players not playing well in that 1st half, but Forsyth definately stood out.
  5. I think Scotland wanted it just as much, but it wasn't there to give.

nice gesture and good result for you guys. Cheers
  7. Totally agree Shaun. I look forward to 2015 with much optimism. I never attended tonight's game v England. It was too expensive and the team were unlikely to physically and mentally maintain what they did v Ireland, so in effect it was almost meaningless. Had the England game been a 1 off game and all players 100% fit and mentally up for it, it could have been very different. We'll never know so i'd put it out of mind now. Gibraltar and a massive game in Dublin to focus on.
  8. It is very hard mentally and physically to get yourself up for 2 big games in quick succession. Even a mediocre England were always going to beat Slovenia and even if they didn't, who cares. They will win their group without breaking sweat. We on the other hand HAD to be at our best in a 50-50 match v Ireland just to stay in touch in a ferociously tough group and then get ourselves up for a fixture against our most bitter enemy England! It is unrealistic and sometimes it just isn't possible. Nothing to do with "not showing enough fight". The players gave what little they had in their tanks.
  9. If it was a Saturday fixture every 2nd year set at reasonable prices it would sell out at a canter every time. Problem is the $FA have now set their benchmark with super high prices with many people obviously more than willing to pay it. So if they try to reinstate this is a regular fixture at current prices the attendances would slowly start to decrease and people would get sickened.
  10. Yes but he's forgiven because he scored a really good goal and he's the new kid on the block. Whereas Whitikar's reputation goes before him. Everyone feel's a bit down after tonight, but theres no point in throwing needless muck at the team. If someone had offered me these 2 results before Friday I'd have bit your hand off.
  11. copied from other thread ......... simple case of a team mainly made up of Championship level players who were a little battle weary physically and mentally from the tough Ireland game playing against a side made up of Champions League players who'd had a mediocre match v Slovenia and were right up for this one. You could see that from their tremendous workrate.
  12. This topic is nonsense. Maybe he didn't play as well as he has in the previous 2 games but half the team weren't on their game tonight, so why is Whitikar singled out? This was a simple case of a team mainly made up of Championship level players who were a little battle weary physically and mentally from the tough Ireland game playing against a side made up of Champions League players who'd had a mediocre match v Slovenia and were right up for this one. You could see that from their tremendous workrate.
  13. If they HALF the ticket prices it would be nice to have this fixture every other year.
  14. Yes it was a money making exercise, and as much as it hurt to see England beat us, the fans who paid through the nose to watch that got what they deserved. If you don't want to be milked like a cash cow, don't give $FA the money!
  15. I am not going to the game because I thought making a stand against the SFA's pricing was the right thing to do. I would have been delighted if 0 tickets were sold which would have sent such a powerful message and potentially prices would have been kept under control in the future. Sadly if it is close to capacity it shows that the SFA were quite astute and know their customers will just pay whatever is asked.
