  1. I do, because I go to watch the game, but I don't think it's unreasonable to want to be able to buy refreshments during half time.
  2. Just wish they could organise a pie stall that could serve everyone without having to miss the start of the 2nd half.
  3. There are various sets of lyrics, I prefer the ones below, though probably just chorus, verse chorus and not the whole lot. Highland Cathedral Words by Ben Kelly Land of our fathers, we will always be Faithful and loyal to our own country. In times of danger, we will set you free, Lead you to glory and to victory. Hail, Caledonia, to our ancient prayer. In this Highland Cathedral, let our standards bear. Joining, together, with one dream to share. God bless the people of this land so fair. Chorus Gone is the past, let us start anew. Let this hope of peace, always remain. Spirit of Scotia, be strong and true. Then your children will smile again, again, again, again. Rise, Caledonia, let your voices ring In this Highland Cathedral of our God and King. Whom joy and liberty to all will bring. Come; let your heart with love and courage sing. Chorus Lonely the exile, o'er distant seas, The home of their birth, gone from their eyes. Bring back their souls o'er the ocean breeze To the land where their fathers lie. Repeat last verse http://www.electricscotland.com/history/scotsman/anthem.htm
  4. I think the band have the pace right, but your solution has more chance of getting the two together.
  5. The queue to get in took about 10-15 mins and everyone was wandering about in the dark. It would certainly be useful if they tarmacked outside the JS stand and put some lights up. Also, the queues for food/drink at half time were really slow, weren't that long, just didn't move forward. Will be happy to get back to Hampden. View from the stand was decent.
  6. Murphy would be great if only for the level of rage he would bring about in the cybernats.
  7. Thing is, if they'd charged the same per game prices, but made Gib 'free' in the Season Ticket, they'd have sold a load more season tickets, sold plenty of tickets for Ireland/England/Germany at full price, probably got a better crowd for Georgia and been able to do some cheap promotions for Gib as all season ticket holders had got it free. Plus more money from Catering/Programmes etc. Now they can't discount Gibraltar as Season Ticket holders have paid full whack.
  8. The fact that the cheaper seats behind the goals are sold out and there are masses of seats alongside the pitch shows it is the pricing. Gibraltar is going to be like a Queens Park game.
  9. Isn't Davidson's comment roughly that she (and anyone involved with both campaigns who both had observers at all postal vote verification sessions) knew that postal votes were favouring no. It's illegal to report on this while voting is still going on, from memory (slightly whisky hazed) she said 'now polls are closed I can say that the postal votes are quite good for no'. I don't know the precise situation after polls close, but there were lots of pre announcement rumours from the various counts (confirmed by both sides) that the yes or no sides were up/down. As to why postal votes favoured no, if postal voters are older/better off then it's probably not a surprise.
  10. So looks like Sold out: Broomloan Front, Govan Front, Copland Front All but sold out: Broomloan Rear, Copland Rear Nowhere near sold out: Govan Rear, Main 30-35k, well done to the SFA and their ticket pricing.
  11. I'd prefer Highland Cathedral, but I've thought that for years, it's nothing to do with the referendum, just a better tune and avoids banging on about England, instead "Lead you to glory and to victory." which is what we should be aiming for.
  12. It really depends on the willingness of non SSC members who have been used to spending £25 on East/West Stand tickets to pay £45 for the top tier of the Govan/Main Stands at Ibrox.
  13. What possessed you to write that, whether or not you think Scotland should be Independent or part of the United Kingdom, comparisons with Nazi Germany do nothing to improve your case and are downright offensive to a lot of Scottish people who (or their parents/grandparents) fought against the Nazis. If that's the level of tolerance to be expected in an Independent Scotland then the currency is going to be the least of our concerns.
