  1. Autocorrect or bad typing. Should have been 'have been a convert ever since '. Must be the autocorrect.
  2. Went on a food hygiene course years ago, has made me terrified of reheating rice ever since. I will do it but am hyercareful
  3. The batch cooking is in the freezer compartment. The booze is mostly my wife's. I'm not putting whisky in the fridge! The cranberries. Aah. They've been there since Christmas. I used some to decorate the Christmas Cake, then was going to make the others into cranberry sauce. I never got round to it but tbh they still look okay so I think I'm still going to do it - they're only four and a half months over the use by date!!!!!
  4. I noticed that one or two people have commented on Swinney's age, as if he's some sort of dinosaur but he's actually younger than Starmer - and nothing ever gets said about Starmer's age. Both are obviously spring chickens compared to a couple of well known American politicians.
  5. Very versatile. Nice with bacon in a roll, particularly with a bit of Bramley apple sauce! Bizarrely I owe my fondness of black pudding due to following Scotland. My dad ate black pudding but the ones we got in England were horrible so I came to the conclusion that I didn't like it. Several years back went up to see Scotland play Ukraine (the one where we 3-0 up in about 15 minutes) and could only get a B&B near Prestwick. Had the full Scottish, has the black pudding, realised that the Scottish version was vastly superior to the English one and gave been a concert ever since!
  6. Worst managerial decision ever? Birmingham City replacing John Eustace when they were sixth in the Championship, appointed Wayne Rooney, never recovered and now relegated.
  7. No Porteous in the Watford squad today. Should we be concerned?
  8. Two fridge family. We had a kitchen refitted in our old house and rather throw the fridge/freezer out we moved it to the garage. When we moved up here we bought another fridge/freezer for the garage. I appreciate not everyone is able to do that but by batch cooking and buying reduced lines I do think that it more than pays for itself and although there's only two of us it's really useful at Christmas etc.
  9. In 2002 that was probably a good deal. Anyhow I wouldn't trust what Scotland on Sunday said, it's not like they haven't got a pretty clear agenda
  10. With the reduction of Westminster seats for Scotland that's even more the case. I used to be a Labour Party member but they haven't been good for Scotland and Starmer's Government won't be either. A vote for Labour will be interpreted as a vote to stay in a Union which isn't working.
  11. Don't think too many people are going to disagree with your verdict on Mr Neill.
  12. Yes, that's what I meant. It's a genuine question from me. It's about the double standards and the pressure giving Sarwar a free pass compared to Forbes and Yousaf.
