Finally something has made me smile today .... -
Alex Davey spent over 6 months at Shorpe last season and he couldn't hold down a place in a struggling 3rd division team ... I was not impressed with him at all, he is a big lad and has a bit of pace but unfortunately didn't seem to have some of the basics required for a defender, seemed to lack awareness of what was going on around him and his positional play was hopeless Not as good a player as Graham Alexander who played at Shorpe probably at about the same age(19/20)? Or even Matt Elliott who was a far better defender(obviously at the low level Shorpe play at).

It's like something out of Spitting Images .... [shot 1} - Closed door with "UKIP National Executive - Meeting In Progress" [shot 2} - Close up of NF holding a letter [Dialogue] NF - Today I will be tendering my resignation, as I have used the "All the others are lying to you and I'm the only one telling the truth" line so many times during the election and then rather stupidly backed myself into a corner by saying "I will resign if I don't win the Thanet South seat" then I have no option but to give you this [places letter on the table in front of him] [shot 3] - Pan out to show NF in left hand seat - table with letter - empty seat on right hand side [NF scurries to opposite side of the table] [shot 4] - Close up shot of NF [Dialogue] NF - Nigel unfortunately we the National Executive cannot accept your resignation, you are the voice and face of our great party and you need to carry on your great work [tears letter into shreds] [shot 5] - Pan out as NF scurries back into the original seat [shot 6] - Close up of NF [Dialogue] NF - If that is the wish of the National Executive then who am I to argue with that .... One man party my ar$e -

You should try walking up Wembley Way with 45,000 of the fuqqers when you've just beaten them 3-2 in the play-off final ..... -

I'm in Milton Keynes South, both the MK seats are CON-LAB marginal, currently held by CON with a 5000+ majority If you ever wondered where all the Scottish Tories went to, well we've got one here, Iain Stewart first dipped his Conservative toes into the political waters in the Scottish elections in 1999 (Glasgow Rutherglen) after which he swam south to waters better suited to him, finally winning the MK South seat in 2010 having lost to LAB in the previous 2 elections. Probably a tactical LAB vote for me What has surprised me is the sheer apathy around here, considering that this is a tight marginal seat, which at the last poll had LAB +2 ahead, I have seen no canvassing apart from a single letter from each candidate thru the post. -
Now you know how I have felt for the past 40+ years following Shorpe up but mostly down the leagues!!! Back in the 90's there used to be a group of guys who would collect money in the pub before an away game and put it on a 3-0 Shorpe win, in the hope of paying for the drink/travel At Carlisle one day we were winning 2-0 and in injury time we got a penalty, unfortunately both goals had been scored by our 6ft 5in centre forward Ian Helliwell and he grabbed the ball from our usual penalty taker, he then spoons the ball over the bar, out of the fuqqing ground heading for those lovely sheep that they always show you when games are televised from Carlisle. Cue 200-300 Shorpe fans going absolutely mental, the Carlisle supporters couldn't understand how we were reacting to a very comfortable away win - LAST TIME I EVER BET ON FUQQING SHORPE UNITED

I always stop off at the Fabrics Market, in Puxi near the Bund(if I've got my directions correct?) Always pick up some hand made shirts whenever I visit, they measure you up, you pick the fabric/pattern from large lists and then give them instructions like button down collar, number of buttons at the sleeve etc etc .... and they make up the shirts and you pick them up the next day .... all for £4-£5 a pop. Well worth wandering around as the place is full of stalls all offering the same service and barter them down to get the best price.

Anybody seen REDIRECTED, this is without doubt one of the worst films I've ever watched but it also contains what I assume is the only TA scene in a mainstream film? This is a Lithuanian 'gangster farce' type of film, like what Guy Ritchie was pumping out a few years ago, it stars (term used very loosely!!) one Vinnie Jones so you know what you're getting ... The film starts in London and ends up in Lithuania thanks to the getaway plane being redirected to Vilnius because of the Icelandic volcano problems The innocent party in this farce wakes up in Vilnius and as he's leaving his hotel room you can hear "We'll be coming We'll be coming", the camera pans down the corridor and there are 3 TA boys staggering up the corridor and into a room ....that is the only reference to TA/Scotland/Football throughout the whole film .... fuqqing surreal

How much would you pay for a 6 nations game? Looks like they have borrowed 7/8 football grounds + the Olympic stadium so they can maximise the attendances and then upped the prices to maximise their profits .... And the idea of no kids prices for any of the knockout games is shocking!!!! -
