  1. Just what it says, where would you recommend these days for the complete outfit?
  2. Thanks for all your good thoughts guys. Have since had advice that if it happens again just report it to the police there and then, so this we will be doing if it happens this weekend.
  3. This is to the total arsehole who hit my daughter on the head at the end of the match just because she was wearing a helmet. Next time your limited brain does stutter into gear tell it to consider why someone might be wearing a helmet to a Scotland match rather than a Glengary or Tam o' Shanter. Maybe it is because she has a bit of skull waiting replacement after having a traumatic brain injury you fud. Maybe when the people with her give you that information you might try and process it and think of apologising to her rather than standing smirking at her and them. But then I suppose that even great support has its ration of mindless morons. But even most of them can tell when they have truly ####ed up although a few can't. You, sunshine, are a definite can't and if you see us in Metz then keep the away.
  4. All the best, Scotty. Wishing you and your mum,all the best in the circumstances.
  5. Thx. I've tried vipbox in the past successfully for the NFL but can't get past adverts and downloads now, dunno if it's cos I'm on an iPad rather than pc or cos I'm in Caanda. Will see what other options there are there.
  6. got Tunnel Bear VPN while in Toronto to watch UK telly. It tricks every site, Sky, STV, BBC, C4, C5 into believing I am watch in the UK. But BT Sport for watching Saintees at Hearts tomorrow? Nae chance, BT thinks I'm not in the UK.
  7. Are Scottish folk you don't know more important or of more value than people of other nationalities that you don't know? FFS.
  8. Thanks folks, the organiser has now seen a couple of bagrock options he thinks will suit the event better than traditional pipers.
  9. I do believe that St Johnstone had Brian Graham banned retrospectively after tv evidence suggested he had dived. I would say that evidence was less definite than the Meekins incident so really can't see what the fuss is about apart from all the moaning Celts. It was clear from the replay at the time that even if Griffiths hadn't been blocking the official's view, the angle of Meekins body would have probably prevented the official seeing what the ball came off or even if his arm had been raised. lot of moaning over nothing on both sides here. One of you won, one of you lost. Get over it.
  10. Scottie, no it's just a roughly ten minute slot amongst a whole lot of other ten minute slots. At present I'm just trying to get a handle on what the cost would be to see if it is viable.
  11. I am helping run an event in Stirling University part of which is a gala evening in the McRobert Centre on Saturday 18th July 2015. As part of this I am looking for around half a dozen pipers to play a medley of Scottish tunes for about 10 minutes. Is there anyone who knows this number of DECENT pipers (who can also look the part, not just kilts, trainers and Scotland tops!) who would be interested and, if so, how much it would cost?
