  1. It's far from a red flag that Cleveland didn't take him. I'd never trust the Browns to do the right thing! The JETS made a bold, early trade and may have reaped the benefit.
  2. Can you expand on why Aldred would be a better option than Lindsay or Soutta? I don't understand what 'question marks' they have that Aldred doesn't. Aldred is 'only' 27, I assume you think that is a positive in his favour? , Souttar is 21 and Lindsay 22.
  3. Great Game, Eagles deserved winners. Every superbowl that the Patriots play in seems to be a thriller!
  4. Tremendous game there between Pittsburgh and Jacksonville. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully this Vikings game is half as good...
  5. I dont think its the end, they are all tethered to one another whether they like it or not. Not hard to believe that Kraft, Brady and Belichick would all have large ego's. Nothing i've ever heard about Belichick makes me think that he is anything but a football lifer and I doubt he wants to walk away. I've always thought that Wickersham and Van Natta write good pieces on ESPN, so I have no real reason to disbelieve any of this but it is a bit short on facts and full of un named sources and what could be termed hearsay. I wonder if this piece even gets written in Garoppolo goes to SF and looks average. Obviously Kraft stays, and its hard to see a better option out the for Brady or Belichick so I think they just carry on for another year at least. Its hard to think of an all time great quarterback that stayed with one team for his whole career and left on his own terms, apart from Elway. Montana, Manning, Favre etc situations all became a bit unsatisfactory to differing degrees. If it is the end, then so be it, its been a tremendous run. Been amazing that Patricia and especially McDaniels have stayed as Coordinators for so long really given the dearth of HC talent in the NFL. And in Flores and Daboll, they have guys ready to step up. Maybe we only win 11 games next season...
  6. Playing in the final of my fantasy football league. £200 at stake. It's very stressful!
  7. I do love them. The fact that the catch rule is confusing and unsatisfactory has absolutely nothing to do with the Patriots. Maybe the likes of Jesse James and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins just need to 'do their job' better...
  8. Well the chargers game was a good experience/ day out and a bad game. Was about 38 degrees at kick off, and no shade! Going to see the chargers again this weekend at Gillette, will hopefully be a better game.
  9. I'm going to see the chargers game this weekend, looking forward to it. It should be a surreal experience, in a small stadium full of away fans!
  10. Not at all. He is a good manager, and is as qualified as anyone else we are likely to appoint...
  11. I'd love Allardyce to take over, Would be a good laugh, and he's as Scottish, if not more, than many of the players.
  12. I was at a tie last year! Just your luck I suppose. I was also at a Saints v Chargers game ages ago that finished about 35-32, probably the best London one I've been at.
  13. No point in starting a new thread for this season, with the unfortunate demise of the TAMB on the horizon, but I'm looking forward to the season starting today (Thursday night doesn't count!). Got tickets to a couple of games in October and had a good fantasy draft. As with last year I am again tipping Green Bay to win the Superbowl. I'll be right one of these years, I just can't see Rodgers finishing with only one ring. Should be a cfracking game later whne they play Seattle.
  14. Haha. shows what I know! Lack of attention paid from the bus.
