  1. Daft laddy question... In terms of the Euro '24 ticket ballot via official website does the bearing of what pot we will be in for the draw in December have any indication of what potential Games/fixtures come December draw? E.g. Pot 2 = A2,B2,C2 fixtures Pot 3 = A3, C3, D3 etc?
  2. Why they not releasing additional sections. Leaving the least desirable seats in the house for TA members that want individual tickets. surely it will sell out regardless of what is left in general sale!?
  3. So after the Wembley defeat I decided enough was enough and I would give attending games a miss for a while. Far to many poor performances, dead end mid-week games and poor atmosphere both pre match and during games. Maybe I am getting old and crabbit but it used to be a great day out with optimism heading on to Hampden, recently that just has not been the case for me hence reason the TA is over...and the TA continuing to sing 'doh a deer' Anyway I found it refreshing to sit at home and watch what I thought was a great performance. Dominated the first half and should have been one or two up. A great result when it mattered. Did Slovenia turn up? would we have beaten a team that came to Hampden and actually tested our defence? I Guess we will find out in June! It seems the Nation (Happy clappers some may call them) now feels we can qualify after one result! Or is this Scotland at their best and setting us up for another glorious failure...it would make a difference to recent years and just standard failure. 6 points out of a possible 9 are a must in the next 3 games as not expecting anything from England with their qualifying record. Anything would be a welcome bonus. Then its see where we are at and take it from there. Also hoping England beat all the others. I look forward to watching the games in the comfort of the couch and boozer, unfortunately I think Lithuania away will bring us back down to earth with a thud!! Apologies for my negative outlook but a victory and a good performance against a team that did not turn up just does not cut it for me! Happy to be proved wrong and will be cheering the boys on from the armchair!
  4. Best of it was two or three in front of me were doing their nut and booing at half-time and generally up to full-time where the booing rang out. Only for them to start applauding when two or three players applauded the fans...confused!
  5. Some greeting on this forum! Times have changed get a grip. I didn't wear any Scotland colours either! Does that make me any less of a fan? In fact in the social group I attended the game only half were wearing colours, some were dressed for night out post game, others ready for work others just not arsed with wearing specific colours...does it really matter. As for the seat discussion well I put my hands up...I sat/stood with friends on Saturday, couple of sections away from my own seat. Plenty of space but if someone had asked I would have moved. Not often do you get to spend a day out with your friends so sod it! Result wise it was a shocker, performance wise it was very very un-inspiring! If you don't beat Lithuania at home then what chances do you have against the others. Look at the last 20 years...these are the games that have cost us. I am still struggling to see anything but another poor qualifying campaign. Big game on Tuesday now with a positive result needs in order to get the fans on board. On a positive front, great news re-additional tickets at Wembley...another opportunity for those fans to get a badge to stick on their hats!
  6. With England in the group there is no way $FA will be dropping prices and demand will continue to be high from Scottish punters! I personally won't be renewing my supports membership for a number of reasons but as above I am sure someone will be quickly take my place to secure England ticket!
  7. Any tickets going? Pm if anyone looking to sell individual ticket.
  8. £15...did you order the tickets for both games separately?? I got £7.50 special delivery for 2 x tickets for both Germany & Poland games. I can only see both game selling out on this occasion, especially after we win in Georgia! I am already being asked by friends if I can get them tickets if SSC members get allocated option of additional tickets! Seems the $FA will have the last laugh after all with the shocking hike in prices!
  9. Scotland 1 (John McGinlay) Sweden 0, Ibrox 1996. I was a young 12 year old nipper snapper!
  10. cheeky profit on a ticket if Scotland bottle it in the lead up to the game!!
  11. I have paid my dues over the years, unfortunately my priorities are changing and supporting the national team takes a step down the pecking order for the time being. It's ok though as I am sure I can get up to speed with the songs/chants seen as they have not changed in the last 20 years! Agree with Wigtownshire, why are we having a go at the away fans when some of the home fans are just as bad, a fair few can barely stand up straight at the weekend matches!
  12. I am not going to pay that kind of cash to watch Scotland play an amateur football team. All be it I would expect 5-6 min... Flure, I'll save my voice for when Poland and Germany visit
  13. It's quite simple, if you don't like the oppositions chants...then drown them out by singing louder! Unfortunately Hampden park and for the matter the tartan army are no longer an intimidating place to go and play. Like an earlier poster stated though, we have 'doe a deer' as our main chant...inspiring for the players I bet! So glad I didn't go to this match and for that matter will be missing this weekends game as well going by all these posts.
