  1. New strip being worn tomorrow. All blue.
  2. Police will monitor social media and deploy extra officers in and around Glasgow as Celtic and Rangers meet for the first time in almost three years in Sunday's Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden. (The Scotsman) Known domestic abuse offenders will get a knock on the door from police in a bid to stop violence sparked by Sunday's Old Firm clash, with extra officers drafted in across Scotland to stop home attacks fuelled by the first derby since April 2012. (Daily Record) Says it all really.
  3. When I was 10 or 11, I wanted every strip, flag, t-shirt, badge, video, record, sticker, mug, keying and every other bit of tat that the club would try to sell me. They could do no wrong and if they got beat it was the referee's fault. The casuals were there to protect normal fans so they were cool as well. I grew up though and no longer indulge in such childish behaviour or see things in such an unbalanced view. Football merchandise is overpriced shite, my team play crap from time to time and casuals are cowardly scum bags. That leads me to believe that e.k. is still a bit younger than many on here...
  4. Deflect, deflect, deflect.... This isn't about Aberdeen appealing against a dodgy red card or a postponement. Stick to the topic.
  5. EK, when Celtic defend their fans behaviour or their players on and off pitch behaviour without knowing for certain what the facts are, it becomes ridiculous and fuels resentment from other clubs supporters. Your club captain and manager didn't hear what Tonev said or didn't say, yet chose to defend him. What was this based on? I assume it was based solely on the tradition of the Celtic 'family' sticking together rather than any actual evidence. In terms of the legal debate, it has to be remembered that Tonev was found guilty of breaking a regulation related to a football match. The burden of proof only had to be a probability rather than beyond reasonable doubt. Had their been evidence beyond reasonable doubt it would become a case for the procurator fiscal to put before the court and if found guilty, Tonev could have been looking at a 9 month suspended jail term and community service order. He has been found guilty and the club and player should have accepted this, apologised and move on.
  6. Radical Muslims burning poppies and demonstrating at Remembrance Day events are condemned by all decent human beings. My Facebook pages have plenty of posts from Celtic minded friends telling them to get back to their own f*****g country. The irony.....
  7. It's always just "a couple of daftness" isn't it..... Or people that didn't realise a minutes' silence was taking place because they got to the ground late. And my team didn't get pumped. Just a neutrals' observation of the state of play concerning Celtic and they victim mentality. You would have thought that they would have learned from Liverpools' embarrassing stance (We are all Suarez t-shirts) and accepted the findings of an independent panel that Tonev is a racist. But the club have supported him rather than condoning him. Has there ever been a time when Celtic or their fans have put their hands up and acknowledged they were in the wrong? All a bit sad and embarrassing to be honest.
  8. Celtic fans interrupt the minutes silence (again). Celtic FC condone the racist behaviour of one of their own players. Celtic benefit in the last minute from a refereeing decision that award a corner instead of a goal kick. EK Celt lives in a wee emerald fantasy land. Logan is now a liar because he got sent off months after being racial abused. Have I missed anything?
