  1. Haven't been able to see the seat map for quite a few days now. Hungary was never visible to me.
  2. I saw FC Kray (a team in Essen) play Rot-Weiss Essen. This was the same week Scotland last played in Dortmund. Kray had somehow found themselves in the same league as Rot-Weiss and Kray were officially the home team, but the match was played a Rot-Weiss. Kray smashed them 4-2
  3. I like the idea of a cup being drastically different to the league. In the league, you can put things right the next week. I don't think you should be able to do that in a cup. A cup is supposed to be a knock-out tournament and I think having "One chance... Just one chance" and taking it would be even more romantic; even more dramatic. I understand what you mean about the financial rewards foe smaller clubs, but I think it should all be down to fate and the luck of the draw. This year it might at your place, but next year it might be Old Trafford.
  4. I agree with it. I think a cup match should be settled on the day; sets it apart from the league; all or nothing on one day. In fact, I'd scrap extra time and go straight to penalties.
  5. IIRC, Amsterdam 2000 was. Pretty sure we went up the day before the match; collected the tickets and then did the stadium museum/tour.
  6. Most shops sell off ex-hire kilts, don't they?
  7. I'm going to defend Dortmund. I've been twice and have had some memorable nights there. Like Kaunas in Lithuania, one of those places where you need to have done your homework on where to go.
  8. The stadium is surely the only logical collection point; what with the fans being spread out across Faro, Albufeira, Vilamoura, etc... Furthermore, it won't take long to dish them out (what with the low attendance) and there's f*ck all to do around the stadium anyway. Just a swally in a queue.
  9. Strange. I'm on the same as yesterday.
  10. Aye, seating map for Munich and Cologne gone this morning. Hopefully it was just a test and will be re-jigged (I wasn't entirely pleased with what I was allocated).
  11. Wee bit disappointed with Munich. 5th row, half-way between corner flag and the penalty area. View From My Seat website shows there are fences at that end. When I chose my Cologne ticket, I expected to be in the upper tier behind the goal. However, I'm on the side (back row) and perfectly in line with the goal line. Looks like I am 1 seat away from a 'higher' price category.
  12. For me, the Germany and Switzerland matches show where you click on the stadium map. Cologne identifies my block in green, but I don't have a green block for Munich......... ?!?!
