Anybody going to stretch it into a tripple header
Regan, Ogilve, Doncaster, Longmuir and Ballantyne, a quintet of tossers - who are somehow all still in a job

Atleast it would be an opportunity to give much needed international experience to younger guys, if Levein starts giving them a game i guess.... *sigh*

Forrest and Bannan both played, so not sure about your "if Levein starts giving them a game" comment - remember - there was a more important u21 tie.

nothing wrong with trying to play some attacking football, and building confidence with a win. The more the players play together, the more they will get used to the system.

What system is that then? As the one we play sure as hell isn't attacking!!

I've thought that as well but it's only worthwhile if we can take that approach into other games, ie the important qualifiers. No point putting 3 past them if we play defensive football in the big games

Firstly i dont believe weel play attackingly and secondly I also dont have too much confidence of a win over there either, there are few mugs in international football these days as Liechtenstein proved against us twice.....

I sense some complaining on the horizon!
First fixture for the new manager to build some confidence to try and save the wc qualifiers?

I suspect that if this is a first game for a new manager then it will because it's too late to save the WC qualifiers. So hopefully as much as Levein annoys me and many others he is still the manager at this game purely because we are in an excellent position for the rest of the campaign.
