Does anybody know anything about this boy.

Read an article on the BBC news about how he was in the squad at the weekend. Also says there is a 14 year old who is also about to play for the 1st team.

Hamilton should be the model for all Scottish clubs.

Even that is better than not supplying international players to anybody!!!

Yeah true...

Anyway, i just read up about the lad" Mark Hill" and the other lad..playing adult football for Hamilton at 13 and 14 that is pretty impressive for any youngster !
And Hill now travels with the 1st team.
Any young Scots doing well is hopefully good for the future. Maybe a little early to tell though ?

I always rated McCarthur and McCarthy...Must be a good scouting system and youth system.

I don't think 13 year olds should be involved in our senior football.

Take a look at Holland. They barely even play 11-a-side by that age.

Wonder what Mark Wotte's thoughts are on this?

Mark Hill goes to Calderside with my nephew.

He said that he's one of the best in the school, and apparently "there's a lot of kids (from that particular school) that could go on to play for Scotland."

no i think you will find kids that age who say they are good are actualy spoiled kids who dont have the correct attitude to play for our national team.

Here's quite a good article about Mark Hill (13) and Danny Armstrong (14), a centre mid and left winger respectively who are with their 1st team squad now:

Interesting to see how they develop and when they make their top team debuts, well done hamilton :ok:

I agree, there should be a minimum age of 16.

That would be Age discrimination in the modern world we now live in!

13 year olds should be nowhere near senior football.

Publicity stunt from Billy Reid and Hamilton.
