Do we know if Johnny Russell also has his head screwed on? It'd be good to know we can rely on two good young strikers not to make an erse of it
Craig Levein extinguished "The Roar to Rio" - shame he didn't listen to it; he might have learnt something
....Jordan Rhodes - he scores goals

Martin O'Neill had used him up front in a couple of games and Brown said he would never do that.
Started up front in Riga.... Remember seeing the team sheet night before game and we were raging that he was only playing one striker. Got to game and were shocked to see Matt Elliott lining up front and playing the game there.
Was same in San Marino, 0-0 at half time and from memory Brown takes off at striker at half time and stats Elliott upfront in 2nd half.
In fairness though, did we not win both games with Elliott getting the 1st goal against san marino when it was looking like being a disaster?Fair play mate, good knowledge! That kind of puts a few of Leveins selections into perspective.

True, it from memory he was as effective as a traffic cone upfront v Latvia, and in typical Elliott style, bullied his way through the San Marino defence

Really? It's by far our weakest position and the fact we are even talking about League 1 players tells you everything you need to know.
Describing Jordan Rhodes as a "League One Player" is a bit disingenuous don't you think? If he's not playing in the EPL next season, I'll donate a crisp tenner to TASA funds.
Kenny Miller will be fit and available for the next campaign and assuming playing regularly and on form has to be considered but the likes of Rhodes and Goodwillie are the future of our international strikeforce.
"Strikeforce" in itself being a bit of a misnomer given that most of the time we'll only play with one up probably, I also think that Steven Fletcher won't be the big miss that everyone thinks he'll be.
