Decent team, considering.

Swap Webster for Wallace and move Mulgrew to centre-back and that would be my XI.

Good chance for McArthur, Phillips, Bannan and Maloney to impress.

Strange move putting Andy Webster straight into the starting line up at centre back instead of Scotland's player of the year in that position. Mulgrew had a poor game against Slovenia at left back, surely Levein should know by now that he can't play left back to an international standard. Why Wallace isn't playing left back is beyond me.

I know all about Mulgrew's failings as I'm an Aberdeen fan but the boy above saying Mulgrew is shite clearly hasn't watched him properly this season. Some players have to grow into the centre back position and he genuinely has. But aye Levein stick him at left back where he's been poor in Scotland, Celtic and Aberdeen jerseys.

I know some people are saying Wallace should be at left back, but according to this DR article back in January, Wallace doesn't consider himself a defender anyway. Maybe Levein will try him on the wing later in the game

I've watched him plenty, mate

Everytime he's up against a decent forward and gets pressure on him he looks dodgy as flip. He's good for Celtic because his main job is to carry the ball out from the back and start attacks, which he is excellent at.

I do worry about Miller as captain and seen as being pivotal heading into the campaign as I don't believe he'll get us the goals we need. That said, the other options don't fill me with confidence.

I haven't seen enough of him, but I thought Mulgrew's player of the season form was as a centre half.

Hopefully Maloney's kept in the middle as I think he's a waste of a jersey out wide.

Bannan is best in the centre, despite a good few games this season on the right. I prefer Brown in the centre too. We have too many good midfielders who seem to be best in a more central position - Fletcher, Morrison, Brown, Dorrans, Bannan, Adam, McArthur...

Looks like a pretty attacking midfield . Will go with that team and looking forward to seeing the midfield getting forward (hopefully).
