New issue of BackPass - "The Retro Football Magazine" - is out today, featuring a three-page spread by Phil Shaw (formerly Scotland correspondent of The Independent) on Scotland's 1992 debut in the European Championship finals with some excellent, revealing anecdotes the Tartan Army may not have read before.
Also a strong Scottish influence in the rest of the mag -- substantial interview features include ex-Hibs legend John McNamee, a lovely one with Alistair Miller, a St Mirren Scottish Cup winner of 1959 and ex-Third Lanark player, and a poignant article about Donald Weir, a young Celtic player of the 1950s who died in a mining disaster.
Gullit and Van Basten on the cover. Available in WH Smith and other respectable newsagents, but also online

He perfectly encapsulates that mixture of dourness and hope which characterises the committed Scotland fan.

Back pass is decent - they did an article ( very nerdy ) of when Scotland became the first National squad to use names on their backs - '79 vs Peru IIRC
