When wee Steven has played there for Rangers he has looked fantastic.When was the last time Scotland had a genuine goal scoring option from midfield?Somebody we can rely on to bury any chances that come our way?Like England have with Frank Lampard?Our midfield is probably our strongest area,but we never seem to see a lot off goals from it.I noticed when we played the USA,they could all use the ball.And were all clever enough to find space and be mobile enough to run into the space were the ball went and collect the ball.If Naismith used those darting well timed runs he has.If Adam and Bannen found the right balls in.I reckon we might have found ourself a winner.Especially if Morrison is injured or failing to start games.What does the forum think?Am I mad or am I on to something here?

Naismith has looked good for Rangers in Europe where he played in the free role (in the hole) behind a lone striker.

Really?
He has played all over the midfield,behind a front man.And as a out and out striker.And even up front alone,in his time for Scotland.For some mad reason lots off his Scotland managers could not find the best area off the pitch to play him.He wants to play as a striker though,its the area he prefers to play most.I think he is better in a 4 4 1 1,where he sits behind a big centre forward.And gets time to run with the ball.I think he would do well with Steven Fletcher up front.How ever then again so would Goodwillie in the Faddy role.

Aye it was the 3 0 game,got confused.It was that game he played centre midfield.We went 4 5 1 and Miller was up front on his tod again.OK my mistake it was not the 4 1 Belarus game he scored in.

What ever I watched the game,and saw it with my own eyes.Also Dailly could play right back,and Alexander left back.I have no idea what age you are.I can assure you that they played 4 5 1.
