2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Qualifier
Wales v Scotland
Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff
Friday 12 October 2012 (kick-off 7:45pm)

GUARANTEED TICKET SALE WILL OPEN MONDAY 6 AUGUST (3-10 points inc.)

With the home qualifiers selling really well (Serbia 17,337 and Macedonia 16,437 tickets sold to date) it’s time for the first away qualifier against Wales to go on sale. Not long now ‘til you’re packing your bags for Cardiff!

Just as a reminder, ticket prices are:

Adults (aged 16 and over) £20
Juniors (aged 15 and under) £5
Seniors (65 and over) £5

Tickets will be situated in blocks E25, S26, S27 of the stadium

Initially tickets are guaranteed to the 3057 members on 3-10 points which means even if all members on these points levels take up their Wales ticket, there will still be >500 tickets for those on 2 points (1401 on 2 points) so don’t despair even if you’re not guaranteed a ticket right away.

A full sales schedule when those of you on 2, 1 and zero points levels can join the sale is available here.

The web will open at 10:00am next Monday 6 August

We also have access to 12 wheelchair user tickets plus 12 assistants. Wheelchair user prices are £20 or £5 concession with the assistant ticket complimentary. Wheelchairs will be positioned in block E25 too. Just call Sharon or Paige on 0141 616 6198/6199 from next Monday 6 August 10:00am.

Cardiff Stadium Plan

We know you’ll all do your best to ensure we have a full away section in Cardiff for this vital away test to help the boys get the points they need.

I can't open that link, can somebody tell me how/when the 2 pointers can go about applying for a ticket?

If you compare the advantages in resources that Scotland enjoys over Norway - better location, easier access to market, world-class technology across a range of sectors, a whisky industry with world renowned premium brands, top universities, easier geography, a huge global diaspora willing us to do well and a great global brand - we should be considering Norway as our start point, not our end point. The fact that our aspirations are so low is a sad indictment of what the Union has done for Scotland.

It will be a ballot for 2 pointers.....NOT a first come first servd basis, or at least thats the way it has worked in the past.

No, it will be first come, first served FOR 2 pointers. Same way they did the Slovenia tickets for 7 pointers in February. Shit system in my opinion, but SSC are looking to stick with it.

Asked this elsewhere aswell but what do you think the chances are that there will be tickets left for zero pointers on August 28?

It is a shit system because people will have different availabilities, say it's 9:00 on a weekday, some people might work shifts and be off at home to buy them, some might be allowed to use their work internet, but then the 'unlucky' ones might not be able to. Should still be a ballot

Should be a ballot.
Just means that the website will crash when the 2 pointers can buy tickets.

absoulute joke that they have reverted from a ballot to a first come first served basis.okay if your close by a pc when the sale opens.of course first come first served makes the SSC job easier
