I guess you also missed the view from the management team on him too?

 

I don't see the problem having him around to assist younger players transition into the squad.

 

Far better to expose them to the likes of him than folk like Commons who can't be bothered.

 

get him in as an assistant coach then. 

 

commons can eff off on holiday and come back three stone heavier again for all I care.

All for young players being given a chance but not sure why Watt can be picked instead of McFadden.

Young squad with little experience which worries me - Faddy would have added a timely boost to the young players but it's a change in direction with an eye to the future - apprehensive about Croatia though
