Maybe Commons is looking after Mulgrew's nipper when he's making his vows ?

I should take a look at myself for getting something wrong on a football forum? wise up min
You didn't 'get something wrong', you purposefully made something up to disparage a player. Get a grip, you got called on your BS, be a man about it.

. you are like a dog with bone, you can't let go, I already said Mulgrew's reasons were fair enough and that I got him wrong. why not leave it there and leave out the insults

I think that is why it just looks so bare just now.... Miller would be useful to have around, but if Fletcher was fit, you would have him, Griffiths and Rhodes to pick from, and for the style of play Starchan wants to go with, Fletcher is the out right winner.... Rhodes I do not think is cut out for it, and no idea if Griffiths could do it or not (people have said they have got 50 goals between them this season.... but we have a habit of having strikers who forget to bring along their scoring boots when called up)
Just stop ![]()
Rhodes won't cut it and you're not sure about Griffiths but Miller would be useful to have around?! ![]()
Miller is finished. He isn't at the same level as any of the forwards in that squad anymore.

Where do I say I think Miller should play or a 1st pick?
Useful to have around is more than just being on the pitch.... Griffiths picks up a knock in the SC final, and we really are down to the bare bones.
Rhodes, Fletcher and Griffiths are going to be our main strikers, but Fletcher is injured.... So it's between Rhodes and Griffiths.... Forget about club football for a moment, people have been saying for a while now Rhodes is not cut out to play upfront on his own, but the manager is not prepared to change to suit this.... Griffiths we need to wait and see.
I think Millers time is long gone, but when we are down to the barebones (which that squad is upfront) a extra striker would have been useful to have around (be it McCormack, Miller or Faddy)

If Griffiths did get injured, we would still have Rhodes and Watt. Naismith can also play up-front.
McCormack, McFadden and even Goodwillie could be called up if needed.
Miller would add nothing to that squad but would deny another player the chance to impress.

John Ruddy was going to cancel his wedding that he had been planning for 18 months to sit on the bench in an England friendly v Belgium as their 3rd keeper. Given that Mulgrew was POTY last season and was selected for Scotland on the back of that then a little foresight might have suggested it would have been a good idea for him to rearrange his wedding date at some point in the last year or so seeing as there was a good chance he would be included in the Scotland squad for this game.
While it is indeed a case that he hasn't just booked his wedding in the last few weeks he also hasn't just become a Scotland squad member in the last few weeks either.
Youre far too normal to be a tim.

Unlucky for McCormack and McFadden in particular, some interesting choices, Watt, Jack etc. Greer's not the future but maybe he can be a stop gap and lend some sort of solidity to the centre of the defence.

I'm actually quite happy with this squad. A good few young players and it looks quite exciting. The defence is pish, utter pish but I really can't see who we could bring in to make that much of a difference. As for commons and mulgrew, not arsed in the slightest, if they were in the squad there would be a page dedicated to how crap they are. I would go mcgregor
hutton martin caldwell whittaker
bridcutt brown
forrest maloney snordgrass
rhodes/griffiths
I think martin has to get a game, he's been really good for norwich this season and we're not really in a position to turn away defenders playing in the premiership.
