Given that he lied to Levein about being tired so he could go on a jolly with his mates to Las Vegas instead of going to Dublin, I actually admire Levein for mentioning that there were 5 or 6 players ahead of him. I would have blurted out the truth to be honest, rather than trying to protect him, particularly as Levein only found out about it because Commons inadvertently mentioned it to an SFA high heid yin's son on a night out and it got back to Levein that way.
