24 Hour Sport Coverage. Getting A Bit Boring?

29 November 2013 - 08:45 PM

This is more a rant as i move towards middle age more than anything. recently have noticed all the guff that bbc sport, sky sports news have yo come up with to fill columns and airtime. For example, bbc sport has "the 5 things we have learned from the merseyside derby". sky sports news in a desperate bid to fill air time on wednesday had swrgio agueros percentage of goals, compared to rooney and van persie etc. Do these people actually think we give a flying fook about all this? Or are they just trying to fill airtime and paying to have 50 million folk working in there.
Am i the only one that thinks all we really want to know is - who won, who scored and was it a good game? we dont care if this is spurs biggest defeats since sheff utd or whoever it was.

Or am i just the wrong side of 30 and as my kids say grumpy?

Re-Curring Dreams

23 June 2013 - 07:21 PM

i keep having the same dream every now and then and it starts and ends the same. i am standing looking out towards a forest. behind the forest a plane departs from an airport, climbs, banks, rolls then dissapears behind the trees crashing to the ground with an explosion and a fireball appearing over the top of the trees. i can think of where this may have come from, we were on holiday at diggerland in yorkshire a few years ago and a stunt plane crashed behind the trees in the distance near where we were

anyone else have recurring dreams? probably not as mental as that though.
