18 January 2013 - 10:07 AM

http://www.prestonfi...pring-Ball.html I am organising a a black tie fundraiser at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh to raise funds for Crohn's & Colitis UK and the Edinburgh Sick Kids Foundation. The 2012 event was supported by Manchester United and Lewis Moody, former England rugby captain ( who like Darren has ulcerative colitis.) Ticket details on the above link. You can also donate to the cause via this link http://www.justgiving.com/spring-ball Please PM me if you need any more information. Many thanks

Crohn's & Colitis Collection - Many Thanks

15 August 2012 - 11:10 PM

A huge thank you to all those who donated and stopped for a chat before the Australia game tonight.  We raised a not too shabby £339.86 for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

This charity funds research into finding a cure for both crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and provides information and support to those affected by these life long conditions.  As many of you know both Darren Fletcher and Russell Martin have ulcerative colitis.  Great to see Darren getting a game on Tue night and Russell adding to his caps at Easter Road on Wednesday.

Thanks again for the support

Charity Collection Before Australia Game

12 July 2012 - 06:13 PM

The Edinburgh Group of Crohn's and Colitis UK will be collecting outside the stadium and the surrounding area before the friendly against Australia in August. We have been granted permission by both the SFA and Edinburgh Council

Crohn's and Colitis UK aims to improve life for everyone affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), the most common forms being Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Together these conditions affect about 250,000 people in the United Kingdom.

As you will all know, Scotalnd internationals Darren Fletcher and Russel Martin both have ulcerative colitis.

Money raised will help CCUK with its aims of providing information and support to those affected by IBD and also fund research into a cure.

You can find out more about the work of CCUK by following the link below.
