Topics I've Started

Darren Fletcher Has It, Russell Martin Has It, I Have It...............

16 October 2013 - 08:23 AM

It's well documented  2 of our international first team choices have ulcerative colitis - a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  These conditions are still not very well understood so raising awareness is very important in the quest to find a cure.

I have organised a ceilidh at St Brides Centre in Edinburgh on 22 November to raise awareness of this condition and funds for the charity that supports those affeceted by IBD - Crohn's & Colitis UK.  A great night out with one of the best ceilidh bands in the country, cheap bar, buffet and fantastic raffle prizes (including a football signed by Celtic first team squad)  all for a tenner.   Great value for money.

Tickets available from St Brides Box office: 0131 346 1405.

PM me if you need any more info.

Cheers

The 2012 event was supported by Manchester United and Lewis Moody, former England rugby captain ( who like Darren has ulcerative colitis.) Ticket details on the above link. You can also donate to the cause via this link http://www.justgiving.com/spring-ball Please PM me if you need any more information. Many thanks
