In Topic: Q&a At Hampden

Dear TAMB members,

This entire thread is a complete "red herring" and all information incorrect.
The Scottish FA has not arranged a Question and Answer session with the Team Manager and any fans' groups.

We can also advise that Darryl Broadfoot is on annual leave and therefore not working at Hampden just now nor in touch with fans' groups as some of the comments may suggest.

It's unfortunate that you've misled in this way however it was a matter for your fellow TAMB members playing a trick on yet another TAMB member!

Best Regards

In Topic: Ssc Members Well Down ?

01 February 2012 - 06:20 PM

Dear All,

There's been much speculation on the SSC's membership figures today and actually the detail reported via the Scottish media was incorrect!

We are really delighted with the renewal figures and during this economic climate are very much appreciative to our club members who have bought their membership for another campaign.

So far, 20,159 members have renewed and as you know the remaining members have until 23 March to guarantee their membership.
The 16,000 that's been quoted was part of the email sent out w/c 23 Jan when we announced the Slovenia match and at that moment in time that was the correct figure against which we worked out how many of you were on each particular points' level. This is an ever-evolving figure with the renewal system running 24/7.

With the Early Bird deal finishing on 26 Jan we did have a bit of a rush on towards the end of last week and the figures are as we've said 4,000 more than has been reported today.

We also have 15,950 Scotland fans who have registered their email address with us to declare an interest in joining the club so, far from being disappointed, we are genuinely pleased.

The maximum number of members we can have and still guarantee each person 1 home match ticket for any Hampden match is 35,000 and we're well on our way to reaching that even though as some of you have pointed out, we don't have a Spain or Germany or one of the "glamour" ties in our next World Cup qualifying group.

Hope this helps clarify the situation!

Best Regards
