Cheers for the links etc so far. I'll check them all out.

Some of what you guys are saying ties in with the stories I remember my family talking about over the years. Although on my grandma's birth cert it states she was born in a cottage in Inverurie, I'm sure I heard that she did spend a bit of time living in tents etc. before moving into a farm to work as a farmers servent just before the war (which seemed quite common for them looking at the other relatives birth and wedding certs).

Also, a few cracking 'spooky stories' (as we called them as kids) were passed down. They seemed very much into there ghost and goul type stories!

Gonna need to try and track down some older birth certs to see how ingrained this way of life was for them..

On paper Aberdeen should be winning this one comfortably, but I very much doubt that'll be the case. Think it'll be a close one with only a goal in it, which I think will be Aberdeen.

Don't expect DM to tinker too much with the team. Vernon starting is a must as his confidence will be high. As other's have said, the only other likely change should be Considine in for Robertson. Hope Smith, Low and Pawlett get another start and that McGinn and possibly Robson get a decent 20 mins.

If the Dons do manage to win this one, it'll be interesting to see if the board stick with Lennon for much longer. I'd imagine it would be the final straw for them....

In Topic: Vauxhall’S Big Pitch Comp.

I won my place on twitter. The majority of guys I spoke to on the day had won them thru twitter or facebook. Some had won thru Vauxhall and I think there was a couple of Vauxhall employees that had been picked at random also.

So best bet to win a place is follow them on Twitter and Facebook (if you are on them!) and keep an eye out for when the comp opens next year. Probably about April time...
