A Positive Progression!
09 September 2012 - 05:19 AM
Our manager has described yesterday's excuse for an attempt to maybe sneak a win a positive progression. What I witnessed is a team made up mostly of attack minded talented footballers who are being shackled by a manager, out of his depth, who is intent on avoiding defeat. Our best central defender is being deployed as a defensive midfielder to shield the vulnerable Berra when the positive approach would be drop Berra move Caldwell alongside Webster bring Naismith into the middle or indeed Maloney as Adam can drop back if needed and pull the strings. You could see the obvious frustration on the players faces as they do not want to criticise the manager (Fletcher) but although we all love Miller's non stop running he is supposed to be our best striker but missed two clear cut chances which is a total luxury at this level. We are stuck with Levein but just under 5000 tickets remained unused for this world cup opener and I feel it is his negativity that is to blame. Come on Craig unshackle our creative players allow Maloney, Rhodes, Mackie and Forrest to excite and shine you will be pleasantly surprised. On a positive the players played well considering the constraints placed upon them and special mentions to Dixon, excellent debut, and of course Alan McGregor world class. Now come on Scotland put a smile on my miserable face!!!
Watching The Games In Singapore?
01 September 2012 - 08:16 AM
Hello all, I have recently moved to Singapore and was wondering if anybody had some ideas/first hand experience of watching the matches over here. I would like nothing better than to team up with some fellow Scots abroad to watch the upcoming double header!
Cheers
